Chris Bosh's Ex Won't Let His Daughter Watch Her Dad in the Finals

CHRIS BOSH'S EX WON'T LET HIS DAUGHTER WATCH HER DAD IN THE FINALS  

Custody and child support disputes between Chris Bosh and his ex-girlfriend Allison Mathis concerning their 2-year-old daughter Trinity are nothing new, but even Mathis' lawyers have said she hopes their daughter can have a good relationship with her dad. Oddly, however, TMZ is reporting that Bosh is now begging a judge to allow Trinity to attend an NBA Finals game over Mathis' objections.  

The estranged pair split custody of their daughter, but right now she's in Mathis' care. Bosh, understandably, wants his daughter present during the Finals and according to TMZ is asking the judge in their on-going custody dispute to allow Trinity to attend the remaining games. 

TMZ obtained an emergency motion Bosh filed with a Maryland court last week -- asking the judge to temporarily alter their agreement so "[Bosh's daughter] is able to share in what, to date, is the pinnacle of Bosh's professional career, and possibly a once in a lifetime opportunity." 

TMZ also obtained an email Bosh had written to Mathis asking for more visits with his daughter before the Finals. It's pretty personal stuff, but you can read it here. TMZ's sources say Mathis doesn't want to alter the agreement, regardless of Bosh's trip to the Finals. However, regardless of the legal wrangling, Bosh is scheduled to take custody of Trinity on June 11, just a day before Game 6. So, Trinity will at least be present for one of her father's games.

Sometimes enough is enough.  You have tried everything, tried everyone and your children remain out of your life and you out of theirs.  Maybe you have now lost contact with them completely.  Depending upon their age, maybe it is time to consider that perhaps they have some choice and responsibility about their relationship with you and maybe it is time that they assumed responsibility for their choices, rather than be a victim.  This applies to you too!

For the caring parents who have fallen foul of this erroneous organisation you can’t help but feel you are being dealt with by a latter day KGB or Gestapo! Far from finding a reasonable settlement to a fundamental issue the CSA in it’s various guises will penalise good hard working Mothers and Fathers whilst perpetuating the already corrupt system by jumping to the aid of feckless fathers and greedy self serving mothers Those of us honest enough to try to do the right thing for our kids pay over and over again and it makes no matter if you pay directly for school uniforms or trips sent vouchers to your children at birthday or Christmas, you are expected to pay again and again ! A colleague of mine paid his ex wife over £8,000 for the welfare of his children but as he did not pass the funds through these government backed bandits it was demanded again. Dads on the Air



PAS Any parent (more often the mother) who wilfully withholds their child from a caring and loving parent (more often the Father) is guilty of emotional abuse on that child as heinous as any physical or sexual abuse!

Why can't I see my Dad?

NBA star Dwyane Wade's lawyers said in court Friday that his ex-wife is manipulative, mentally unstable and occasionally violent. Her lawyer accused Wade of being disengaged, uncommitted and too busy to be a full-time dad. Lawyers for Wade and his former wife, Siohvaughn, leveled the charges in closing arguments Friday after a bitter child custody trial that has dragged on for more than four months. Each parent is seeking sole custody of their two boys, ages 8 and 3. By Dawn Rhodes, Chicago Tribune reporter.

What Judge Goldfarb and Dr. Amabile did in the Wade case, is observe and describe the behavior of a mother bent on keeping two young children away from their father. That alienation clearly led to certain behaviors by the boys that certainly looks like PAS to me. Fathers have become undervalued, family structure has become disposable, children suffer without both parents but so often father is left out, seen as nonessential. Let's correct this by bringing attention to it! I am happy to populate the Internet with information that is helpful, supportive, and conducive to fostering father-child relationships, reducing or eliminating Parental Alienation, for the betterment of our children's psychological and emotional health, and for the future health of our families and societies.
