"True compassion is not just an emotional response but a firm commitment founded on reason.

Therefore, our compassion for others does not change even if they behave negatively. Our feelings of responsibility for others gives rise to a wish to help them actively overcome their problems." ~ Dalai Lama originally shared:

Make a difference and create a kinder and more peaceful world for ALL CHILDREN

Alicia has released a new song, “We Are Here,” from a place of deep compassion. The song is inspired by her desire to make a difference and create a kinder and more peaceful world for ALL CHILDREN. Alicia is using her voice to reinforce her vision of an empowered global community in which all people are heard, respected, equal, and treated with dignity. She’s rallying fans (you!) and challenging you to raise your voices for the causes you believe in— because real change begins with all of us.

Alicia says, “It’s not about me, it’s about WE.” This is OUR world. And #WeAreHere.

The song debuts exclusively on Alicia’s Facebook today. Read more about Alicia’s inspiration for “We Are Here” in the message below:

Constitutional Amendment No. 28 ~~ #VOTE2016

Cynthia Wheeler's photo.

We agree to meet with me tomorrow in Tampa. I will advocate for the creation of a subcommittee composed of low to middle income litigants that desire to participate in the process to fix problems that directly affect them and incorporating real world experience that no member of the Commission has directly.I am hoping that he agrees or presents my request to other Commission members and they agree to my request. Closed my don't get feed. Commissions in other states may have 3 members or more so to my knowledge there is no set rule that the Commission cannot add members. What harm could it do? California has a Commission and has HUGE civil court problems and other states. I think adding non attorneys/judges members reflective of the people the Commission was created to help will actually bring a very important missing component. I will let you know how everything turns out tomorrow or Saturday depending on what time I return. It is a 3-3.5 hour drive.

The Florida Legislature passed the Parental Rights Memorial, thus making Florida the fifth State in the Union to call on Congress to pass the Parental Rights Amendment to the United States Constitution!
 Mission accomplished!

Florida Parental Rights Memorial ~
In the 2011 legislative session, the Parental Rights Memorial (HM 557 and SM 954) passed overwhelmingly in the Florida House with a voice vote, and unanimously in the Florida Senate. Both chambers gave the Parental Rights Memorial bipartisan support.

"NO CHILDREN ALLOWED" A Florida Judge's Courtroom Sign

Rumpole at JUSTICE BUILDING BLOG - 5 hours ago
This is the sign hanging on a Judge's courtroom on the sixth floor. She's not the only judge with the sign on her door. It's illegal. It's wrong. Children are people too, unless you're Adrian Peterson, asshole football player for the Vikings. Florida law covers specific instances where a judge may close a courtroom. There are specialized notice requirements involving the media. Hanging a sign on a door is not the legal way to do it. Banning an entire class of individuals for no good reason will not withstand any legal challenge whatsoever. THIS IS THE UNITED STATES OF A... more »

Letter to State-Federal Elected Officials For Family Law Reform - Purple Keyboard Campaign - Write ONE Letter

In Florida government is designed-to-fail: for voters, November is a time to cast aside that hopelessness

The Love and Iron Project

Letter Template To Your State and Federal Elected Officials Asking Where They Stand On Family Law Reform

This morning, put out an excellent call to action on its Facebook page.
Here it is:
“Have you ever wondered where your local State Representative or Senator stands on the presumption for equally shared parenting, or what they think about Judges using discretion to bypass equal parentage and access to children by Non-Custodial families? Well, let’s find out. Fathers and Families is asking today that you go to Google and search your State’s Legislative or General Assembly website to find your State level Representative and Senator (pick one Rep and one Senator) and email both asking where they stand on you being allowed to have equal access to your children and financially supporting them directly, as well as how to deal with Judges who prevent that.
Once both have responded, come back to this post and type the name of the State you are in, the Rep/Senators name, and copy and paste their response.”
So, I wrote my own letter this morning and sent it off.
It’s important that each and every one of us let our officials know where we stand on Family Law reform, and what the consequences will be should they continue to ignore us.  Therefore,  everyone should send this letter or a letter of their own making to their elected officials!
So, with this in mind, you are free to copy the letter I wrote and send it off yourself.

Take Action Now!
